Tyrosinase enzymatic activity was measured using mushroom tyrosinase assay with (A) L-tyrosine and (B) L-DOPA as substrates. (C) The effect of MA on cellular tyrosinase activity was measured using L-DOPA as substrate. The cells were treated with MA (10-50 µg/mL) and arbutin (50 µg/mL) for 24 h. Data are presented as the mean ± SD (##p<0.01 compared with the control group).
