Fig. 2. Effect of efonidipine on the phosphorylation of JNK and c-Jun in LPS-treated BV2 cells. Cells were co-treated with LPS (1 µg/mL) and the indicated concentrations of efonidipine or SP600125 (a JNK inhibitor, 10 µM) for 24 h. The phosphorylation levels of p-JNK/JNK3 (A) and p-c-Jun/c-Jun (B) were measured by western blotting analysis, as described in Materials and methods. β-Actin was used as a loading control. Representative blots are shown. The data are presented as the mean ± SEM of at least three independent experiments (#p<0.05 vs. vehicle-treated control cells; *p<0.05 vs. LPS-treated cells). LPS: lipopolysaccharide, p-JNK: phosphorylated JNK, p-c-Jun: phosphorylated c-Jun.
