(C) SKOV-3 cells were incubated with/without 10 ng/mL VEGF stimulator and were then transfected with control, NOEY2-N or various mutants, respectively. Expression levels of VEGF and HIF-1α affect the proteins associated with angiogenesis control and therefore play vital roles in regulating tumour angiogenesis. Expression levels of VEGF and HIF-1α were visualised using western blotting. Experiments were repeated at least three times with similar results.
