(A, B) HaCaT cells were transiently transfected with control siRNA, AhR siRNA, or NrF2 siRNA using the DharmaFECT® Duo transfection reagent (Thermo Fischer Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA). After incubation for 24 h, the cells were treated with resorcinol (3 mM) in the presence of B[a]P for 24 h. The cells were then subjected to real-time PCR analysis for HO-1 and CYP1A1. *p<0.05 vs. resorcinol-treated control (A). *p<0.05 vs. B[a]P-treated control (B). *p<0.05 vs. (B[a]P+resorcinol)-treated control.
