(A) The cells were treated with MHY4381 or SAHA at various concentrations (0.01-10 μM) for 24 h and 48 h. Cell viability was assessed using an MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay, and the data represent the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. (B) Morphological changes (cell body shrinkage and reduction of cell number) in the cells were documented by photography after MHY4381 (1 μM) and SAHA (1 μM) treatment for 48 h. (C) The effect of MHY4381 or SAHA on prostate cancer single cell proliferation assessed by colony formation assay.
