Fig. 3. Antioxidant activity assays in the whole brains of 5XFAD mice. 5XFAD mice were administrated of Theracurmin (100, 300 or 1,000 mg/kg) or the same volume of vehicle solution for 12 weeks. The last administration of Theracurmin (100, 300 or 1,000 mg/kg) or vehicle solution was performed 1 h before sacrifice. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels (A), malondialdehyde (MDA) levels (B) and glutathione (GSH) levels (C) were measured as markers of the antioxidative activity of Theracurmin. The data represent mean ± SEM (n=4–5/group). *p<0.05, **p<0.01, ***p<0.001 when compared to the control group; #p<0.05, ##p<0.01 when compared to the vehicle-treated group.
