The effects of Theracurmin against impaired recognition memory in 5XFAD mice during the novel object recognition test. 5XFAD mice were administrated of Theracurmin (100, 300 or 1,000 mg/kg) or the same volume of a vehicle solution for 12 weeks. Donepezil was used as a positive control. The mice were subjected to a training session 1 h after drug administration. A probe session was performed 24 h after the training session without drug administration. The effects of Theracurmin on the object preference ratio (A) and discrimination index (B) are presented, along with total exploration time (C). The data represent mean ± SEM (n=8–10/group).
