(A) RT-PCR analysis of pro-fibrotic proteins (collagen Iα1, collagen Iα2, collagen IIIα1, α-SMA, and fibronectin) was performed using mRNA isolated from lung tissues on 28th day after bleomycin treatment. (B) mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNFα, and MCP-1) was determined by RT-PCR in lung tissues. mRNA levels were expressed as ratios with GAPDH mRNA levels. The values shown are mean ± SE (n=6). Statistical significance: ***p<0.001 vs. PBS-treated S1P2 WT mice, #p<0.05, ##p<0.01 vs. PBS-treated S1P2 KO mice, and p<0.05, ††p<0.01, †††p<0.001 vs. bleomycin-treated S1P2 WT mice.
